- Colleen Cummins is a native Californian born in San Diego. She received a BA in Journalism from San Francisco State University in 2008. Where she was a multimedia producer as well as multimedia photo editor for SF State’s online publication [X]press. She is a Chips Quinn Scholar, Summer Class 2007 and interned for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in the summer of 2007 as a staff photographer and the Palo Alto Weekly in the fall of 2008. Spent several years a a newspaper shooter for the Appeal-Democrat in Marysville,Calif., and is now a freelancer based in West Oakland.
