Friday Night Football and WildFire

My job allows me to experience many different things over the course of week some days bring more excitement than others just like any job and some days bring unexpected long hours. Last Friday I was assigned to shoot some color and atmosphere for the beginning of football season when I got a call from my editor about a large wildfire burning near Bullards Bar Dam in the Yuba foothills. These frames are from the 22 hrs of work in 48 hrs.

yep, this has been most of my Thursday and Friday nights for the past month. the high schools have been a lot of fun. especially, since i am quite often mistaken for someone who works for the high school yearbook.
